President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mr Ivan Brajović, extended a congratulatory message on the occasion of 5 August, Municipality Day of Gusinje, to its citizens and local government:

"Today, when the citizens of Gusinje celebrate 5 August as their Municipality Day, I extend my sincere congratulations and best wishes for the development to full potential of the region at the foot of Prokletije, Lipovica and Visitor.

This area that is rich hydrologically is suitable for both energy and for the development of agriculture, summer and winter tourism, as well as numerous other sports and recreational activities, which would enable hard working citizens of Gusinje safer existence.

I am convinced that Gusinje, with the greater cooperation of the local government and state authorities, will in the period ahead record growing success, and its population make plans for the life of their offspring at their hearths."
