President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mr Ivan Brajović hosted today the delegation of the Friendship Group of the Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Turkey with Montenegro, headed by Mr Erol Kavuncu.
President Brajović emphasised his satisfaction with the dynamics of parliamentary cooperation, as well as the strengthening of the overall relations between the two countries. He stressed that excellent political relations have been accompanied by developed economic cooperation, where the investments in less developed areas have been of great importance for Montenegro.
The Head of the Friendship Group, Mr Kavuncu expressed satisfaction with the regular dialogue and readiness of both parliaments to deepen cooperation with new content. He emphasised that Montenegro was a country of tolerance, coexistence and peace, and that its Parliament, with the representatives of citizens, truly reflected multi-ethnicity and was an example in the world.
The interlocutors agreed that numerous Montenegrin diaspora was a significant potential for intensifying our bilateral, cultural and economic relations.
