President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mr Ivan Brajović, extended a congratulatory message on the occasion of 18 September, Municipality Day of Nikšić, to its citizens and local government:

"The citizens of Nikšić, the economy and culture of which has shown vitality even in the most difficult times, have for good reason realistic expectations that with the successful fulfilment of multiple economic potentials life in this town in the period before us would be of better quality.

Nikšić is a university town, and has increasingly been recognised as a tourist destination, and it deserves to carry the title of a city of young people, who with their entrepreneurship will give additional momentum and energy to the development of this region.

To the winners of the City Liberation Award and to all citizens, I congratulate the Municipality Day of Nikšić, 18 September".
