President of the Parliament receives Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of BiH

President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović today has received Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mr Denis Zvizdić.

During the meeting the interlocutors shared views on the process of European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Montenegro and BiH, situation in the region as well as further improvement of parliamentary cooperation.

President Brajović said that visit of Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mr Denis Zvizdić was another confirmation of excellent relations and intensive political dialogue that the two countries have been continuously developing, and that Montenegro provided full support to Bosnia and Herzegovina in pursuing its strategic goals.

They mutually assessed that historical orientation, commitment to the region, its stability and prosperity obliged to constant cooperation and communication. The two states have no open issues, which is an additional stimulus for upgrading and continuing the close cooperation in the implementation of projects of common interests, the interlocutors emphasised.

Mr Zvizdić congratulated on all the successes that Montenegro has made on the path of Euro-Atlantic integration and expressed confidence that parliamentary cooperation would be significantly improved. President Brajović said that the formation of friendship group with the Parliament of BiH was ongoing, which would greatly contribute to more intensive communication of institutions and its expert teams.

The meeting was also attended by vice presidents of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Branimir Gvozdenović and Genci Nimanbegu, as well as Chairperson of the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants Mr Andrija Nikolić and Chairperson of the Committee on European Integration.
