President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović congratulated the 100th anniversary since the foundation of the Iskra FC to Mayor of Danilovgrad Ms Zorica Kovačević and President of Iskra Football Club Mr Blažo Šaranović.

“The century of playing football in Danilovgrad and the anniversary of "Iskra" speak of continuous sports enthusiasm, which was held in all conditions and circumstances. The 100th anniversary of Iskra FC is also a good reason to remember dedicated individuals from the world of sports and local government institutions who understood the importance of having a football club for the community of this city.   

I can personally witness the important educational role of Iskra FC in growing up and creating many positive traits of the generations of young Danilovgrad citizens gathered in this sports team.

I sincerely congratulate the anniversary and wish a bright future to our Iskra, the pride of Montenegrin football and the sport as a whole.”
