President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović wished a merry Christmas to the dignitaries and believers who celebrate this holiday according to the Julian calendar:

"I wish a merry Christmas to all citizens of the Orthodox religion, with the desire to spend it in good health, personal and family happiness.

Mutual respect and care for each individual with no exception, is a prerequisite for our further progress towards a more tolerant, humane and spiritually rich society.

Throughout its history, Montenegro has been able, with its power of unity, to overcome numerous challenges and build a society where there is room for all people of good will. May these holidays also be an incentive for a common future in which we will nurture the best in each of us.
