President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mr Ivan Brajović, extended a letter of condolence to Mr Mustafa Şentop, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Turkey, on the occasion of the earthquake in Turkey:

"Deeply shaken by the news on the number of victims and wounded caused by the earthquake at the east of your country, I would like to extent, on behalf of the Parliament of Montenegro and on my own behalf, our sympathy and solidarity with the government and all citizens of the friendly Republic of Turkey.

Please convey our deepest condolences to the families who have lost their loved ones.

Hoping that the rescue crews will be able to save more lives with their timely response, with best wishes for the speedy recovery of the wounded and successful remediation of the consequences, please accept, distinguished colleague, the assurances of my highest consideration and friendly greetings."
