President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mr Ivan Brajović, extended a congratulatory message to Mr Talat Xhaferi and to all citizens of the North Macedonia on the occasion of the accession of this country to NATO:
"With the raising of the flag of the Northern Macedonia in front of NATO Headquarters in Brussels, as the 30th member, you have symbolically joined today an alliance that has acted in the interest of universal peace and security.
Montenegro has sincerely and openly advocated the accession of North Macedonia to NATO, with the aim of further strengthening the stability of the Western Balkans.
At the time of the health challenge the whole world has been facing, with best wishes, I extend congratulations to my fellow members of the Sobranie, as well as all citizens of friendly North Macedonia."
