President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović has congratulated the upcoming Eid al-Fitr to the Reis of the Islamic community and all members of the Islamic faith in Montenegro.

“We mark Eid al-Fitr in Montenegro in the light of the success of preserving the health of our citizens, to which all segments of society contributed. With a sincere call for all the believers to uphold the recommendations of the state authorities, the Islamic Community of Montenegro has shown a high level of social responsibility and confirmed the significance of mutual confidence, which, through centuries, has been fostered and which resisted many temptations.

Eid is a holiday which brings messages of peace and friendship, which are always needed in our community rich in faiths, nations and cultures. Wishing to the members of the Islamic faith to spend Eid al-Fitr in health and joy with their loved ones, I would like to extend warm congratulations on your holiday!”
