The President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović congratulated the Dean, teaching and other staff, as well as the students of the Faculty of Economics on the great jubilee - 60 years since this university institution was founded:

“On the occasion of 60 years since the Faculty of Economics was founded, when the development of higher education in Montenegro had begun by the decision of the National Assembly of the Republic of Montenegro on 31 May 1960, I would like to extend my sincere congratulations to the management, employees and students of the Faculty of Economics.

All distinguished lecturers, teaching and other staff of the Faculty of Economics are deserving of our due memory and respect, whose dedication in the previous six decades has generated thousands of responsible and professional graduate economists. Furthermore, very significant scientific and research activities of the Faculty of Economics have greatly contributed to economic development of Montenegro in the course of previous decades. 

I am convinced that the experts who obtained their diplomas at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Montenegro will be among those that will carry out the economic recovery of the country from the consequences of our fight against COVID-19.

I also believe that the Faculty of Economics will continue the tradition of nurturing the principles of academic integrity and scientific excellence, which will further promote this institution as a provider of strong professional support to future economists and its country of Montenegro.“
