President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović wished a happy Municipality Day of Šavnik, marked on 22 July, to the local leadership and all the citizens of  Šavnik:

“The proud townspeople of Šavnik have many reasons and justification to celebrate Liberation Day of 22 July as their Municipality Day, unwaveringly and thoroughly fostering the best values of antifascism, giving an example and consistently contributing to the state policy of civic, NATO and European Montenegro. 

I am convinced that with further preservation of health of its townspeople and with the support of the state, Šavnik will continue its infrastructural development and implement new local and regional projects in areas with the most potential - tourism, energy and production of healthy food.

With its hard-working townspeople, Šavnik has diversified recognition and a special precious place in the developmental map of Montenegro.  The investment impetus will open opportunities to create new jobs and for the inhabitants of this area to have increasingly pleasant life.
