President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mr Ivan Brajović, wished a happy Municipality Day of Gusinje, marked on 5 August, to the local leadership and all the citizens of Gusinje:

"With the renewed status of the municipality, in the years ahead, Gusinje will obtain a well-deserved opportunity to use its potentials for the benefit of the local citizens and the whole of Montenegro. The natural beauties of Mountains Prokletije, the tourist offer with Ali-Pasha's Springs, as well as numerous cultural monuments of exceptional value, are only a part of the possibilities that stand before the hardworking citizens of Gusinje.

With the support of state institutions, I am sure that the opportunities for the development of Gusinje and the entire northern region of Montenegro will be used more often. The harmonious community of the citizens of Gusinje deserves special respect, as well as the diaspora dedicated to their region, who have proven their wisdom and loyalty to their country, Montenegro, during crucial historical moments.

With expressions of wishes for preserving all common values and personal progress of the citizens of Gusinje, I congratulate on 5 August - the Municipality Day!"
