President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović wished a happy Municipality Day of Kolašin, marked on 28 August, to the local leadership and all the townspeople of Kolašin:

“Primarily as one of the most significant tourist centres in the northern Montenegro, Kolašin shows perseverance in infrastructural and overall economic development.

The investment impetus at the state level and strategic institutional support with improved work of the local administration point to the firm commitment to ambitious goals of modernisation of Kolašin and the increase of standard for its townspeople, within further balanced development of our state.

Through history, the townspeople of Kolašin have demonstrated courage, wisdom and endurance countless times, which was also confirmed in the latest health care and economic challenge which especially affected the area of tourism. In this respect as well, the state has once more shown vision and care for its citizens and their existence, which additionally convinces me in the fast recovery of the economy at the national level, as well as the progress of hard-working townspeople of Kolašin. 

Kolašin, as well as the entire Montenegro, will be an increasingly better place to live, and their progress is our mutual success and satisfaction! With gratitude to everyone who contributed to the development of Kolašin, I would like to extend best wishes to the townspeople and congratulate them on Municipality Day!”
