The President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mr Ivan Brajović, extended a letter to Mr Nabih Berri, the Speaker of the Parliament of Lebanon, on the occasion of the accident in this country:

"Saddened by the news of the tragic death of citizens of your country in the explosion in Beirut, I extend my sincerest condolences on behalf of the Parliament of Montenegro and my own behalf.

In this painful moment, we share the grief with the families who lost their loved ones.

With wishes for a quick recovery of the injured, receive, dear colleague, expressions of my great respect and friendly greetings."
