The President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mr Ivan Brajović, received a letter from the President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), Mr Rik Daems, informing of his regrets of the fact the Parliamentary Assembly would not be able to carry out the observation mission designated to monitor the parliamentary elections in Montenegro, due to the epidemiological situation and travel restrictions to Montenegro effective in a number of Council of Europe Member States.

In the letter, the President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe emphasised his confidence that the Montenegrin authorities have taken into account the recommendations of previous observation missions in the organisation of the upcoming elections, and called for close cooperation and exchange of information on the election process in our country.
