Meeting Mr Brajović – Mr Latinović

President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mr Ivan Brajović, met today with the Ambasador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Montenegro, Mr Đorđe Latinović

It was assessed that bilateral relations have ascending tendency in all areas and at all levels, and that the mutual commitment to the region, its stability and progress indicate to constant cooperation and communication.

President of the Parliament expressed satisfaction with the intensive political dialogue at all levels, noting that good neighborly relations were key to economic and infrastructural development, as well as European integration that were the common denominator to countries of the Western Balkans.

President of the Parliament expressed Montenegro's readiness to transfer knowledge and experience in meeting the European agenda, especially bearing in mind that B&H's application for membership of the EU was adopted in September 2016.

- Regional cooperation and good neighborly relations are among key strategic priorities of the foreign policy of Montenegro. Through active participation in regional initiatives, we strengthen individual relations with neighbors and other countries of the Western Balkans and help our, but also the progress of other candidate countries to the EU – Mr Brajović pointed out.

President of the Parliament of Montenegro and the Ambasador of Bosnia and Herzegovina noted the need for continued cooperation in relation to economic, social and other issues of interest to the citizens of the two countries.
