President of the Parliament participating at the Summit Meeting of Parliament Speakers from Central and Eastern Europe

President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mr Ivan Brajović, will participate at the Summit Meeting of Parliament Speakers from Central and Eastern Europe, to be held in Warsaw – the Republic of Poland, on 18 May 2017, upon the invitation of Mr Marek Kuchciński, Marshal of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland and Mr Stanisław Karczewski, Marshal of the Senate of the Republic of Poland.

The Summit Meeting in Warsaw will be attended by more than 30 presidents of parliaments of European countries.

Topics of the Summit will be the most current problems in the region, such as:

- Declaration on values that form the basis of cooperation between Central and Eastern European countries and nations;

- "Security situation in the region"; and

- The role of national parliaments in finding ways of cooperation – pointing to new development paths.

President Brajović will have a presentation in the frameworks of the "Security situation in the region" topic.

The Warsaw Summit will also be an opportunity for a series of bilateral meetings with presidents of parliaments of the countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
