President Brajović thanked for the continuous support of the UNICEF Office to Montenegro, particularly to Mr Benjamin Perks, Head of the Office, for his devotion to numerous joint projects implemented during his mandate, which have resulted in the implementation of the legal reforms in the area of child protection, domestic violence, minor judiciary and education.
By strengthening our partnership we were able to constructively address very sensitive issues and bring about significant changes in the social policy and child protection, including promotion of children rights and raising awareness of the need for their protection, as well as changes in social behaviour and the environment, especially in the fields of health, education and equal rights - the interlocutors assessed.
The President of the Parliament expressed confidence that the successful cooperation would be continued in the future, as well as that implementation of the Cooperation Program for Montenegro for the period 2017-2021 would contribute to the upgrading of the results achieved so far in the area of child protection and social inclusion, quality education, as well as in the field of access to justice.
President Brajović said that results of the campaigns “It's about ability”, “Every child needs a family” and “Preschool for All” were impressive thanks to continuous commitment and significant contribution of Head of the UNICEF Office Mr Benjamin Perks, and wished him a lot of success in his future work.
