- Bearing in mind the strategic partnership of Montenegro and the United States of America, as well as mutual adherence to common values - freedom and democracy, I am convinced that in the upcoming period the excellent relations of our two friendly countries would be additionally strengthened through joint efforts and new initiatives in political, economic and security field, it is stated, among other things, in the congratulatory message extended to the President of the Senate, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives.

President Brajović also thanked the United States of America for the strong support to Montenegro's membership in NATO, as well as the overall reform processes that Montenegro was continuously committed to.
