President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mr Ivan Brajović, extended congratulatons to presidents of the National Council and the Council of States of Switzerland, Mr Jürg Stahl and Mr Ivo Bischofberger, on the occasion of the Statehood Day – 1 August, with best wishes for further development, happiness and welfare of Switzerland and its citizens.

Congratulatory message on the occasion of the Republic Day in Macedonia – 2 August, has been sent to Mr Talat Xhaferi, Speaker of the Assembly. In his congratulatory message, the President of the Parliament of Montenegro, among other things, states that two friendly countries have succeeded in achieving excellent interstate relations and meaningful cooperation, thanks to the geographical proximity, common heritage and strong ties that they had built.

President Brajović reiterated his satisfaction with improvement of parliamentary cooperation and overall relations, contributed by the recent visit of the Speaker of the Assembly of Macedonia to Montenegro.
