Administrative Committee holds its 23rd Meeting

Administrative Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro has agreed on the wording of the Proposal for a decision on dismissal of one member of the Council of the Agency for Electronic Media

 

At today’s meeting of the Administrative Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mr Darko Ivanović, member of the Council of the Agency for Electronic Media, gave a statement on on the existence of circumstances from Art. 11 and 13 of the Law on Prevention of Corruption.

Agency for the Prevention of Corruption adopted the Decision UPI 02-01-281/4 of 29 September 2017, which found that Mr Darko Ivanović, member of the Council of the Agency for Electronic Media, has violated Art. 11 and 13 of the Law on Prevention of Corruption, in his capacity of public official, in the manner that after the expiry of the prescribed deadline, simultaneously with his public office, he performed the duty of an authorised representative in the company "Agency of Media N-Gage" Ltd Podgorica.

Members of the Committee posed multiple questions to Mr Darko Ivanović, member of the Council of the Agency for Electronic Media, with regard to circumstances from 11 and 13 of the Law on Prevention of Corruption.

In accordance with Article 42 of the Law on the Prevention of Corruption, the Committee unanimously decided to propose to the Parliament of Montenegro to dismiss Mr Darko Ivanović from his position of a member of the Council of the AEM.
