At today’s 27th Meeting of the Administrative Committee of the 26th Parliament of Montenegro, the Committee has initiated the procedure for appointment of one member of the Council of the Agency for Electronic Media, in line with the Electronic Media Law, by sending a public invitation to non-governmental organisation dealing with the media to submit their proposals.
Pursuant to the law, the public invitation will be published in the Official Gazette of Montenegro, on website of the Parliament of Montenegro and in daily “Dan”.
Additionally, with the aim of implementing the Plan of activities for addressing 23 recommendations set out in the Final Report of the State Audit Institution on honouring the 2016 Annual Financial Report of the Parliament of Montenegro of 16 October 2017, the Committee adopted, upon the proposal by the Secretary General of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Aleksandar Jovićević, the Decision on Amendments to the Decision on determining the amount, method and procedure for spending special-purpose funds allocated to MP groups for hiring secretaries and expert consultants to the groups as well as the Decision on Amendments to the Decision on the payment of the difference in earnings that a member would have had if they had exercised their parliamentary office exclusively.
In line with Art. 67 of the parliamentary Rules of Procedure, Mr Mersudin Gredić, Deputy Secretary General of the Parliament, also took part in the meeting in his capacity of the proposer of the act.
