At its 38th Meeting held today, the Administrative Committee of the 26th Parliament of Montenegro, in the continuation of the appointment procedure of the President of the Jury for presenting the 13th July award, decided to submit a request to the Agency for Prevention of Corruption for the opinion on whether there are limitations that Mr Rajko Todorović be appointed President of the Jury, considering that the Parliament of Montenegro appointed that same person on 23 November 2017 as a member of the Council of the Agency for Electronic Media, on behalf of the Montenegrin PEN Centre.
The Administrative Committee has unanimously determined the Proposal for a Decision on appointment of a member of the State Election Commission from among the representatives of civil society, non-governmental sector and universities and decided to propose to the Parliament of Montenegro to appoint Mr Zoran Vujičić, law graduate and programme coordinator for the rule of law at the NGO Civic Alliance, as a member of the State Election Commission.
Pursuant to Article 71 of the Labour Law, the Committee issued the Decision on the payment of compensation for the unused vacation time for 2015 and 2016, in the name of Mr Ivica Stanković, Supreme State Prosecutor, and upon the request of the named person.
Pursuant to the Decision on Special Advisers in the Parliament of Montenegro, the Committee issued the Decision on the dismissal and the Decision on termination of the right to earnings in the name of Ms Ana Miljanić, former adviser to the President of the Parliament of Montenegro, who resigned due to the assumption of a new duty.
Pursuant to Article 76 of the Labour Law, the Committee issued a Decision on the suspension of the rights arising from employment contract in the name of MP Mr Milan Knežević.
Under the item of the agenda “Current Issues”, the Committee members decided to submit to the Agency for Prevention of Corruption, as the responsible body, for further proceedings, the initiative of 22 NGOs to launch the procedure for determining the conflict of interest of Mr Mimo Drašković, a member of the Council of the RTCG.
