Administrative Committee holds its First meeting

At the First meeting of the Administrative Committee of the 26th Convocation of the Parliament of Montenegro, which has started today, the Committee determined a number of permanent committees. 

 

The Administrative Committee has postponed determination of the list of candidates for chairpersons and members of the permanent committees of the Parliament of Montenegro. Chairperson of the Committee Mr Luigj Shkrela said that proposals of candidates from the position were already certain, and called parliamentary parties and coalitions from among the opposition to deliver proposals for membership in the committees as soon as possible. He announced that the continuation of the meeting would be held, most probably, on 7 December 2016, when the list of candidates would be determined.

At today’s meeting, the Committee adopted the following:

- decision on determination of the right to earnings of all MPs of the 25th Convocation of the Parliament of Montenegro;

- 39 decisions on the right to earnings after termination of office for MPs of the 25th Convocation of the Parliament of Montenegro, upon their own request;

- 63 decisions on the right to earnings of MPs of the 26th Convocation of the Parliament of Montenegro who had informed the Committee that they would perform the function exclusively;

- 6 decisions on the right to make up the difference in earnings of MPs of the 26th Convocation of the Parliament of Montenegro

- 12 decisions on dismissal and 12 decisions on termination of the right to earnings of special advisors in the Parliament of Montenegro of the 25th Convocation;

- decision on determination of the right to earnings of the Prime Minister and members of the 40th Government of Montenegro;

- decision on earnings of the Prime Minister and members of the 41st Government of Montenegro; and

- decision on earnings and decision on special allowance of the Supreme Public Prosecutor, upon the request of the Supreme Public Prosecutor's Office.

Upon the proposal of Mr Ivan Brajović, President of the Parliament of Montenegro, the Committee appointed Ms Tatjana Krivokapič as top advisor - Chief of the Cabinet of the President of the Parliament of Montenegro, and Mr Periša Kastratović, Ms Ana Miljanić, Ms Anu Radonjić and Ms Bojana Dabović as advisors.
