Administrative Committee holds its Fourth Meeting

The Committee reissued an Open Vacancy Notice for appointment of a member of the State Election Commission from among the representatives of civil society, non-governmental sector and universities

 

At its Fourth Meeting held today, the Administrative Committee of the 26th Convocation of the Parliament of Montenegro, pursuant to Article 56 paragraph 1 item 2 of the Personal Data Protection Law, gave its consent to the Rulebook on Organisation and Job Scheme of the Agency for Personal Data Protection and Free Access to Information, No. 01-54-1352-1/16 of 14 March 2016.

Members of the Administrative Committee noted that no applications had been submitted to the Open Vacancy Notice for appointment of a member of the State Election Commission from among the representatives of civil society, non-governmental sector and universities, of 29 December 2016, and decided to reissue the Open Vacancy Notice.

In compliance with proposals, the Committee appointed Mr Uroš Andrijašević as advisor to Mr Branimir Gvozdenović, Vice President of the Parliament of Montenegro, and Mr Nikolla Berishaj and Mr Ardijan Mavrig as advisors to Mr Genci Nimanbegu, Vice President of the Parliament of Montenegro.

In compliance with the Law on Amendment to the Law on Public Sector Salaries, the Committee adopted the decision on earnings for the following: President of Montenegro; President, vice presidents and members of the 26th Convocation of the Parliament of Montenegro who exclusively exercise that office; Prime Minister and members of the 41st Government of Montenegro; President and Secretary of the State Election Commission,; President and members of the Senate of the State Audit Institution; Protector and Deputy Protector of Human Right and Freedoms of Montenegro; judges of the Constitutional Court; Supreme State Prosecutor; Advisor to the President of the Parliament of Montenegro; and Assistant to the Secretary General of the Parliament of Montenegro. Earnings quotient for officials from the A, B, and C categories of the Law has been reduced by 8% of the earnings until December 2018. The earnings will not be increased for the years of service performed in the period from 31 March 2017 to 31 December 2018.

Furthermore, the Committee adopted several decision on status issues of a number of officials, upon their own request.
