At its 66th meeting held today, the Administrative Committee of the 26th Parliament established the Proposal for the list for the appointment of the RTCG Council members by authorised proposers. The Committee proposed to the Parliament of Montenegro to appoint the following as the Council members:
- Mr IVAN JOVETIĆ, nominee of the University Donja Gorica “UDG”;
- Mr ILIJA DESPOTOVIĆ, nominee of the Matica Crnogorska;
- Mr DAVID DELIBAŠIĆ, nominee of the national cultural institutions and NGOs from the field of culture;
- Mr PAVLE RADOVANOVIĆ, nominee of the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro;
- Mr MILAN RADOVIĆ, nominee of NGOs from the field of media;
- Mr GORAN SEKULOVIĆ, nominee of NGOs from the field of protection of human rights and freedoms, dealing with the protection of the following: national, gender and overall equality; right to a healthy environment; consumer rights; rights of persons with disabilities or rights to education and social protection;
- Mr NIKOLA TATAR, nominee of the Federation of Trade Unions of Montenegro; and
- Mr PREDRAG MARSENIĆ, nominee of Montenegrin Olympic Committee.
Considering that only one person was nominated as a nominee of NGOs from the field of protection of human rights and freedoms, dealing with the protection of the following: national, gender and overall equality; right to a healthy environment; consumer rights; rights of persons with disabilities or rights to education and social protection, and two members of the Council are to be appointed, the Administrative Committee will, within a legal deadline, reissue a Public Invitation for the said category of the proposer for nominating a nominee for one member of the RTCG Council.
