At today’s Sixth meeting, the Administrative Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro of the 26th convocation decided to issue the Second repeated public competition for the appointment of a member of the State Election Commission from among the representatives of civil society, NGOs and universities. Candidate Mr Vladimir Bošković was not supported by the necessary majority of the present members of the Committee.
The Committee unanimously decided to adopt the 2016 Performance Report of the Administrative Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro. The Performance Report for the last year gives the overall overview of activities and results of the Committee, with particular emphasis on personnel, legislative and oversight activities of the Committee.
In addition, the Administrative Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro unanimously approved the 2017 Work Plan of the Committee, drafted in line with the EC 2016 Progress Report on Montenegro and 2017 Work Plan of the Government of Montenegro.
