Administrative Committee holds its 89th Meeting

The Proposal for the Decision on Forming the Committee on Monitoring the Application of the Law on Election of Councillors and MPs in the part relating to the media was established

At its 89th Meeting held today, the Administrative Committee of the 26th Parliament of Montenegro has established the Proposal for the Decision on Forming the Committee on Monitoring the Application of the Law on Election of Councillors and MPs and proposed to the Parliament of Montenegro to appoint the following:

- Mr Miloš Nikolić, as Chairperson;

- Mr Genci Nimanbegu, as Deputy Chairperson;

- Ms Nada Drobnjak, as member;

- Mr Predrag Sekulić, as member, and

- Mr Boris Mugoša, as member.

On the basis of the Notice of the Secretary General of the Parliament of Montenegro of 11 March 2020, the powers from Article 56a(3) of the Rules of Procedure and the Decision on setting the criteria for determining the justification for the absence of MPs from the sitting of the Parliament, the Administrative Committee adopted the decisions on reducing the monthly salary in the amount of 40% for the following MPs: Mr Dritan Abazović, Mr Aleksa Bečić, Ms Zdenka Popović, Mr Boris Bogdanović, Mr Momo Koprivica, Mr Danilo Šaranović, Mr Vladimir Čađenović, Mr Dženan Kolić and Ms Valentina Minić, due to their unjustified absence from the First Sitting of the First Ordinary (Spring) Session of the Parliament of Montenegro in 2020 on 4 March 2020.
