The Committee decided to propose to the Parliament of Montenegro to give approval that criminal proceedings can be initiated and detention ordered against Mr Nebojša Medojević

At the Ninth Meeting of the Administrative Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro of the 26th Convocation, upon proposal of the Special Public Prosecutor’s Office Kti-S. No.13/17 of 30 May 2017, following the discussion, the Committee has unanimously decided to propose to the Parliament of Montenegro to adopt a Decision to give approval that criminal proceedings can be initiated and detention ordered against Mr Nebojša Medojević, member of the Parliament of Montenegro, because of the criminal offence – Creation of Criminal Organisation from Article 401a paragraph 1 with regard to paragraph 6 of the Criminal Code of Montenegro.

Pursuant to Article 55 paragraph 2 of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament of Montenegro, within the first item of the agenda, without the right to vote, the following MPs of Democratic Front participated in the meeting: Mr Andrija Mandić, Mr Branko Radulović, Mr Milan Knežević, Mr Predrag Bulatović, Mr Strahinja Bulajić, Mr Milutin Đukanović and  Mr Janko Vučinić.

At today’s meeting, pursuant to Article 180 of the Law on Insurance, the Committee has also started the procedure of appointment of two members of the Council of the Insurance Supervision Agency by issuing a Public vacancy notice for the appointment of a member of the Council of the Insurance Supervision Agency and addressing the notice to the Government of Montenegro, as the authorised proposer, for submitting a proposal for the appointment of a member of the Council of the Insurance Supervision Agency. 

Public vacancy notice for submitting proposals for candidates for the appointment of a member of the Council of the Insurance Supervision Agency will be published on the website of the Parliament of Montenegro and in the daily “Dnevne novine”.

Furthermore, upon the proposal of the President of the Parliament of Montenegro for appointment of an adviser to the President of the Parliament of Montenegro, No 00-63-14/17-80 of 6 June 2017, the Committee has decided to appoint Mr Obrad Nenezić as adviser to the President of the Parliament of Montenegro.
