Administrative Committee holds its Eighth Meeting

Committee agreed on two proposals for decisions

At the Eighth Meeting of the Administrative Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro of the 26th Convocation that was held today, its members concluded that, according to the Third repeated open vacancy notice for the appointment of a member of the State Election Commission from among representatives of civil society, non-governmental sector and universities, there were no candidates whose candidacy they would decide on, since Mr Zoran Vujičić withdrew his candidacy.

At the proposal of the MP Group of the Democratic Party of Socialists of Montenegro, the Administrative Committee decided to propose to the Parliament of Montenegro to appoint MP Ms Daliborka Pejović as a representative of the Parliament of Montenegro to the Senate of the Old Royal Capital.

Also at the proposal of the MP Group of the Democratic Party of Socialists of Montenegro, the Committee decided to propose to the Parliament of Montenegro to nominate Mr Bojan Đakonović as a member of the Commission for ranking the candidate for the member of the Committee of the Energy Regulatory Agency Committee.

Considering the GRECO Recommendations on the establishment of "clear and objective criteria for the abolishment of the immunity", members of the Committee supported the views of the Administrative Committee of the 23rd and 24th Convocation of the Parliament.

Within the item Current issues, members of the Committee:

l. learned about:

- the information on the implementation of decisions under the competence of the Administrative Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro, submitted by the Secretary General of the Parliament of Montenegro at the request of the Committee;

- the Notification of the Administration for Inspection Affairs related to the Initiative of the Administrative Committee for Inspection supervision of the Electric Power Industry of Montenegro AD Nikšić in the case of the closure of the employment record books of MPs Mr Milutin Đukanović and Mr Strahinja Bulajić; and

- the Ruling of the High Court in Podgorica of 7 April 2017 regarding the legal matter of Ms Slavica Striković, prosecutor from Nikšić, against the respondent State of Montenegro - the Parliament of Montenegro.

ll. decided to:

- strike out the Claim of Ms Ljubinka Kustudić for dismissal from the duty of the Deputy Member of the State Election Commission, for the lack of competence, and because the appointed does not perform the function of the Deputy Member of the State Election Commission;

- request from the Secretary General of the Parliament, on the occasion of the Request of the former MP Mr Radojica Živković for extension of benefit coverage upon termination of office, pursuant to Article 218 of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament, to provide information on when did the former MP Živković get entitled to retirement, taking into account the facts stated in the request, in order to create conditions for the Administrative Committee to make an appropriate decision; and

- issue the Decision on the earnings of the MP Mr Branko Radulović, upon the request of the appointed.
