Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget and the Commission for Monitoring and Control of the Privatisation Procedure held today the first joint meeting, presided by the Chairperson of the Committee, Mr Predrag Sekulić and the Chairperson of the Commission, Mr Branko Čavor.

At the meeting today, the Proposal for the Decision on long-term lease of land for developing the base settlement of the mountain centre "Kolašin 1600" with the Proposal for the Agreement on long-term lease of the land and the Report on the results of the tender on long-term lease of the land was considered.

Beside members of the Committee and the Commission, the meeting was attended by the Minister of Sustainable Development and Tourism, Mr Pavle Radulović.

At the meeting, after the introductory presentations, a discussion was held on the issues raised and the answers provided by the Minister of Sustainable Development and Tourism, Mr Pavle Radulović. Also, the arguments in favor of long-term lease of land in Kolašin were considered, as well as the planned investments in that locality.

The members of these two working bodies assessed that the planned investments in this locality could significantly contribute to the development of tourism and the northern region and noted that the Proposal for the Decision on long-term lease of land for developing the base settlement of the mountain centre "Kolašin 1600" should be endorsed.
