At the meeting that was held today, the Committee unanimously adopted the Decision on initiating the procedure for the election of members of the Commission for the conduct of election of one member of the Council of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption. In this regard, it is needed that the Parliament of Montenegro, the Judicial and Prosecutorial Council appoint one representative each, and from the parliamentary majority (the member from the opposition will be elected when the conditions are met), in accordance with Article 85 paragraph 4 of the Law on Prevention of Corruption, within seven days, who shall be members of the Commission for the conduct of election of one member of the Council of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption.

In accordance with Article 85 paragraph 5 of the Law on Prevention of Corruption, the Anti-Corruption Committee sent a public invitation for the appointment of a member of the Commission from among the non-governmental organisations.
