At today’s 14th meeting, the Anti-corruption Committee has considered the request by the MP Group of the Social Democratic Party of Montenegro to hold a control hearing of the Supreme Public Prosecutor Mr Ivica Stanković, Special Public Prosecutor Mr Milivoje Katnić, Director of the Police Administration Mr Veselin Veljović, and Director of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption Mr Sreten Radonjić, on the work of these state authorities in the case of information announced to the public by Mr Duško Knežević, owner of the Atlas Group.
Following the introductory statement by a representative of the submitter of the request, and the discussion and vote by Committee members, the request was not supported by the required majority.
