Members of the Security and Defence Committee Mr Luiđ Ljubo Škrelja and Mr Branko Čavor will participate in a two-day Regional Conference on Emergency Situations, in Belgrade, the Republic of Serbia.

The event is organised by the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and the OSCE Mission to Serbia.

The aim of this event is to raise awareness on disaster risk management in the region, to facilitate the exchange of experiences and opinions among parliamentarians on their role in this area, and to identify opportunities for future cooperation.

The conference will be attended by representatives of the committees responsible for defence and security issues from the parliaments of the region, as well as representatives of the institutions dealing with emergency management.
