Today, member of the Security and Defence Committee Mr Miodrag Vuković participated in the conference “Information Warfare and the New World Order: Case Study of the Western Balkans”, organised in Podgorica by the Atlantic Council of Montenegro.

The event was aimed at establishing a platform for better communication and long-term cooperation among the regional and international decision-makers and policy-creators, and improving the integration of the SEE region in NATO. 

At the conference they discussed, among other things, how geopolitical movements and new technologies were changing the path towards crisis and conflict resolution, role of non-military methods for achieving political and strategic goals, influence of Russian propaganda on the stability of the Western Balkans, and development of counter-measures, potential suppression of false information, and enabling integrity of the public debate.
