The Committee also learned about the activities implemented in the reporting period with special reference to development policy, European and Euro-Atlantic integration process, improvement of good neighbourly relations and regional cooperation, execution of laws and other regulations, and the state of security and results in the fields of work of the Police Administration.

In the continuation of the meeting, and with the Minister of Interior and the Assistant Director of the Police Administration in attendance, the Committee learned about the 2017 Status Report on Road Traffic Safety in Montenegro.

Today, the Committee also considered the 2017 Status Report on the protection and rescue system in Montenegro, and with the Minister of Interior and the Director General of Directorate for Emergency Situations in attendance, the Committee learned about the implemented activities within the protection and rescue system of citizens, material and cultural goods and the environment in Montenegro.
