Security and Defence Committee holds its 54th Meeting

The Committee adopted a decision on holding a meeting on Monday

At its 54th Meeting held today, the Security and Defence Committee adopted a decision to hold a meeting on the topic “Considering current security situation with regard to developments in Budva Municipality” on Monday 29 June, starting at 11h. Minister of Interior Mr Mevludin Nuhodžić and Director of the Police Administration Mr Veselin Veljović were invited to attend the meeting.

In the continuation of its work, with Director General of the Intelligence Security Directorate Mr Miljan Perović in attendance, the Committee considered the Proposal for the Law on Military Intelligence and Security Affairs, and following the discussion, with a majority vote, proposed to the Parliament to adopt it. Also, with Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Montenegro Mr Dragutin Dakić in attendance, the Committee considered the Proposal for the Decision on deploying members of the Army of Montenegro to the NATO Response Force - NRF and unanimously proposed to the Parliament to adopt this proposal for decision.
