Participation of members of the Security and Defence Committee in the Regional Annual Conference of Security and Defence Parliamentary Committees of SEE countries

The participants in the gathering include Chairperson of the Committee Mr Obrad Mišo Stanišić, members Mr Luigj Lubo Shkrela, and Mr Miodrag Vuković

Regional Centre for Security Cooperation RACVIAC, in cooperation with the Joint Commission for Defence and Security BiH, OSCE Mission in BiH, and the Geneva DCAF will host the Regional Annual Conference of Security and Defence Parliamentary Committees of SEE countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatian, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Greece, Romania, Turkey, and Slovenia.

The regional meeting will be held in the period from 5 to 7 June 2017, in Sarajevo, in the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is expected that more than 30 parliamentarians from the countries in the region, members of security and defence committees, as well as 20 civil servants from the SEE region will attend, including a number of experts from the fields which will be the subject of discussion at the conference, as well as representatives of international communities who deal with this matter more closely.
