The importance of full membership of Montenegro in NATO was emphasised at the meeting, and the importance of the development and improvement of good neighborly relations for the security and stability of the region as a whole.

The quality of past cooperation and support of the Republic of Croatia to the Euro-Atlantic and European integrations of Montenegro was stressed, the relations of the two parliaments and working bodies in charge of defense and security issues, and the importance of joint work on development projects aimed at achieving further progress and improvement in all areas.

The readiness to continue the successful cooperation between the two countries, both in the field of European integration and in all other fields, was jointly stated, with the assessment that all potential open issues should be addressed in the spirit of well-founded good neighborly relations.
