Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget holds its 31th Meeting

Two proposals for laws supported

At its Meeting held today, the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget considered and decided to propose to the Parliament to adopt the Proposal for the Law on the Capital Market and Proposal for the Law on the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro, submitted by MPs: Mr Predrag Sekulić, Ms Marta Šćepanović, Mr Filip Vuković, Ms Jovanka Laličić, Mr Miloš Nikolić, and Mr Nikola Rakočević;

In line with Article 67 of the parliamentary Rules of Procedure, and with regard to considering the Proposal for the Law on the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro, representatives of the following took part in the meeting: Chamber of Economy of Montenegro, Union of Employers of Montenegro, Montenegro Business Alliance and Union of Free Trade Unions of Montenegro.

In line with Article 148 of the parliamentary Rules of Procedure, the Committee submitted two amendments to the Proposal for the Law on the Capital Market and eight amendments to the Proposal for the Law on the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro, which, after being accepted by the representatives of the proposers, have become an integral part of the draft law wording.

The Committee agreed to hold a consultative hearing on the topic “Regulating the flow of the Bojana River" at a joint meeting with the Committee on Tourism, Agriculture, Ecology and Spatial Planning, while the timing for holding thereof will be determined subsequently.
