Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget holds its 33th Meeting

Two proposals for laws supported

At its Meeting held today, the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget considered and decided to propose to the Parliament of Montenegro to adopt the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the 2017 Budget Law of Montenegro. It was noted at the meeting, that, among other things, the source income was increased for 20.4 million €, while total planned budget expenditures, in relation to the plan, were decreased for 41.35 million €, and that the planned level of budget deficit was reduced for 61.76 million € and it amounted to 172 million €, i.e. 4.09 % of the GDP.

Furthermore, the Committee considered and decided to propose to the Parliament of Montenegro to adopt the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Local Self-Government Financing, submitted by MPs Ms Jovanka Laličić and Ms Marta Šćepanović, with an amendment of the Committee which became an integral part of the wording of the Proposal for the Law.
