Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget holds its 40th Meeting

The Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the 2018 Budget Law of Montenegro was supported

At its Meeting held today, the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget considered and decided to propose to the Parliament of Montenegro to adopt the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the 2018 Budget Law of Montenegro, which increased the source income by 57 million Euro, while total planned expenditures of the budget compared to the plan were increased by 82 million Euro, thus increasing the budged deficit planned pursuant to the 2018 Budget Law of Montenegro by 25 million Euro, amounting to 139.14 million Euro or 3.16% of the estimated GDP. It was also noted that, compared to the 2018 Budget Law of Montenegro, the expenditures of the Operating Budget were increased by 81 million Euro, the expenditures of Capital Budget were increased by 1 million Euro, while the expenditures of state funds and transactions of finances remained unchanged.

Furthermore, the Committee has decided to propose to the Parliament to adopt the Proposal for the Decision on Montenegro’s Borrowing for 2018 and the Proposal for the Supplement to the Law on tax on use of passenger motor vehicles, vessels, airplanes and aircrafts, submitted by a group of six MPs.

In the continuation of the meeting, which will be convened subsequently, the Committee will vote on the Proposal for the Law on Amendment and Supplement to the Law on State Surveying and Cadastre of Immovable Property submitted by MPs: Mr Predrag Sekulić, Ms Marta Šćepanović, and Mr Petar Ivanović.
