Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget holds its 102th Meeting

Amendments to the Proposal for the 2020 Budget Law of Montenegro considered

At today’s meeting, the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget has considered multiple amendments to the Proposal for the 2020 Budget Law of Montenegro. The Committee supported amendments by MPs: Mr Nikola Rakočević, Mr Boris Mugoša, Mr Adrijan Vuksanović, Mr Andrija Nikolić and Mr Nedžad Drešević, which was reformulated as the proposal for the Committee's conclusion. The Committee decided to propose to the Parliament to reject the amendments (20) submitted by MPs Ms Danijela Pavićević and Mr Srđan Milić. Due to the absence of the proposers for the Law, the Committee did not consider the amendments 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 submitted by MPs: Ms Draginja Vuksanović-Stanković, Mr Džavid Šabović, Mr Ranko Krivokapić and Mr Raško Konjević. In addition, the Committee has formulated three further proposals for the conclusion to the Proposal for the 2020 Budget Law of Montenegro. In relation to amendment 1 submitted by the above-mentioned MPs, the Committee, having regard to the position of the representative of the proposer that the amendment would be acceptable in the modified text, that is, as a proposal for a conclusion, decided to submit a proposal for a conclusion.

The Committee also considered the amendment by Ms Nada Drobnjak, MP, submitted to the Proposal for the Law on Financing Political Entities and Election Campaigns, and after voting and accepting them by the representative of the proposer, stated that it became an integral part of the text of the Proposal for the Law. In addition, the Committee, in accordance with Article 148 of the parliamentary Rules of Procedure, established 14 amendments to the said Proposal, which, after being voted on and approved by the representative of the proposer, became an integral part of the text of the Proposal for the Law.
