On 23 and 24 February 2017, members of the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget will pay a visit to the Scottish Parliament. The visit is organised within the project implemented by the Westminster Foundation for Democracy in cooperation with the Parliament of Montenegro, with support of the British Embassy to Podgorica.
The goal of the visit is to exchange experiences and hold meetings of the delegation with corresponding working bodies of the Scottish Parliament. During the meeting they will discuss the topics relating to the manner of work of the Financial Scrutiny Unit, with emphasis on the challenges in establishing a parliamentary budget office. Furthermore, they planned to have meetings with members of the Scottish Parliament where, among other things, they will the discuss the manner in which the MPs use the services of the parliamentary Information Centre.
The delegation consists of: Mr Vujica Lazović, Chairperson of the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget, Mr Genci Nimanbegu, Mr Predrag Sekulić, Mr Filip Vuković, and Mr Petar Smolović, members of the Committee.
