Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget holds its 110th Meeting

Amendments and a proposal for law considered

At today’s meeting, the Committee has considered two amendments to the Proposal for the Law on Business Enterprises, submitted by MPs Mr Predrag Sekulić, Mr Nikola Rakočević and Mr Momčilo Martinović, which have become an integral part of the Proposal for the Law after the vote and consent by the representatives of the proposer.

In line with Article 148 paragraph 2 of the parliamentary Rules of Procedure, the Committee also submitted an amendment to the Proposal for the Law on Business Enterprises, which have become an integral part of the Proposal for the Law after the vote and consent by the representatives of the proposer.

The Committee has also considered the Proposal for the Law on Emergency Measures to Support the Citizens of Montenegro as a result of the Communicable Disease COVID-19 Epidemic (lex specialis), submitted by the Democratic Front MPs. Up to the beginning of the meeting, the Government did not deliver its opinion on the said proposal to the Committee. The Proposal for the Law did not obtain the requested majority at the Committee meeting.

The Committee has postponed consideration of the Proposal for the Law on amendments to Law on Budget and Fiscal Responsibility for some of the upcoming meetings.
