The delegation of the National Audit Office of Kosovo, in addition to the Auditor General Mr Besnik Osmani, was composed of representatives of the National Office: Mr Imri Semetishti and Ms Mirlinda Ahmeti.

The meeting was also attended by: Mr Nikola Kovačević, member of the Senate of the State Audit Institution and Ms Marija Žugić, Head of the Department for International Relations of the State Audit Institution.

During the meeting, they discussed the procedures and deadlines for consideration of the budget and the Final Budget Statement in parliaments; recommendations and ways of monitoring the implementation of recommendations of supreme audit institutions; position of audit institutions in terms of strengthening financial autonomy; opportunities for further strengthening of cooperation of parliaments and audit institutions, as well as relations between competent working bodies of parliaments and audit institutions. It was noted that it was necessary to continuously strengthen cooperation of those institutions in order to further improve supervision and control over spending of public funds.
