At the Sixteenth Meeting that was held today, Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget considered and decided to propose to the Parliament adoption of the 2016 Performance Report of the Central Bank of Montenegro. During the discussion, the Committee took into account the supporting documents, which in accordance to the Law on the Central Bank of Montenegro were submitted to the Parliament of Montenegro for the sake of information, namely: 2016 Report on the Stability of Financial System, 2016 Report on Price Stability and 2016 Annual Financial Report of the Central Bank of Montenegro, with the opinion of the independent external auditor. In addition, the Committee considered and decided to propose to the Parliament adoption of the 2016 Performance Report of the Financial Stability Forum.
Bearing in mind that the Council of the Central Bank of Montenegro adopted the 2017 Decision on Amendments to the Financial Plan of the Central Bank of Montenegro at the meeting held on 29 March 2017, the Committee learned about the amendments to the Financial Plan, in which the total projected revenues for 2017 were increased by EUR 700,000.00, while total projected expenditures were increased by EUR 50,000.00.
The Committee also learned about the Report on Monitoring the Implementation of the Law on Supplements to the Law on Conversion of Loans in Swiss Francs CHF into Euros EUR, submmited to the Parliament by the Central Bank in accordance with the Article 5 of the Law on Conversion of Loans in Swiss Francs CHF into Euros EUR. Regarding the said item of the agenda, the meeting was attended by: Banking Ombudsman of Montenegro and representatives of the Consumers Protection Center Montenegro.
