At its meeting held today, the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget considered and supported eight amendments to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Excise Law, submitted by MPs Mr Nikola Rakočević and Mr Miloš Nikolić, and the representative of the proposer agreed with them thus making them an integral part of the text of the Proposal for the Law.

Furthermore, the Committee also submitted two amendments to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Energy, and the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Value Added Tax, and the representatives of the proposers agreed with them thus making them an integral part of the text of proposals for laws.

Pursuant to Article 76 paragraph 3 of the Law on Central Bank of Montenegro, the Committee provided consent to the election of internationally recognised independent external auditor of financial reports of the Central Bank of Montenegro for 2017.

In accordance with Article 33 of the Law on State Audit Institution, the Committee decided to propose to the Parliament of Montenegro to nominate applicant Mr Radule Žurić as a member of the State Audit Institution.
