Committee on European Integration holds its Sixteenth Meeting

Members of the Committee gave a positive opinion on the Information note on the current state of affairs in fulfilling benchmarks within the negotiation process.

At today’s Sixteenth Meeting, members of the Committee on European Integration have discussed the current state of affairs in fulfilling benchmarks within the negotiation process of Montenegro and the EU.

In the presence of the MEA Mr Aleksandar Andrija Pejović and eight members of the negotiation group in charge for chapters  2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28 and 31, the activities within chapters were explored in details, with the aim of fulfilling opening and closing benchmarks for opening of three and closing the remaining chapters.

Following the constructive debate, members of the Committee gave a positive opinion on the Information note on the current state of affairs in fulfilling benchmarks within the negotiation process.

Given that the considered document was classified as “internal”, the meeting was closed to the public.
