Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms holds its Seventeenth Meeting

At its Seventeenth Meeting, the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms has considered the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Electronic Government and the Report on exercise of rights of mentally ill persons deprived of their liberty, placed in the Institution for Enforcement of Criminal Sanctions.

Within the third item, the Committee has considered and unanimously adopted the Performance Report of the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms.

Also, members of the Committee adopted the Information on participation of the Chairperson of the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms Mr Halil Duković in the Workshop dedicated to discussion and validation of finding and recommendations of independent evaluation of the exiting monitoring system of children's rights in Montenegro, held in Podgorica on 16 February 2018.

Within the item “current issues”, members of the Committee learned about the Application of Mr Milutin Pavićević and Mr Željko Gagula who complained about the inability to exercise their right to pension.

Furthermore, members of the Committee learned about two letters by the Council for Civilian Control of Police Operations.
